Welcome to the WebDarts website. On this website you will find information on the online darts system made by the company NatriSoft, which is published under the brandname WebDarts.nl. You can test the system for free!

About WebDarts

The first version of WebDarts was created during the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. The original goal was to make it possible to play darts at home, from two different locations (because bars and venues were closed for clubs). After that first version, the system was expanded and the result is the 'Club' version. So it is not a system to occasionally play a game of darts for fun, it is a complete system in which multiple competitions are played!

WebDarts works through your browser. So it can be used on any computer, tablet or smartphone that has internet access. Various types of competitions can be played and the system shows results and statistics. The fact that management functions are only visible to users that are logged in as a manager or administrator, prevents players getting lost in a bunch of unnecessary functions and settings. The system is every easy to use!

Today, online privacy is very important. No personal data is stored in the WebDarts system, only player names (which could be fictitious names). Two working demos have been made that make it possible to test the system, without sharing personal data. Why switch?

If a club moves from counting on paper or whiteboard to a digital environment, you would think it would take a lot of time and effort to convince people and to learn how to use the system. Experience has learned us that this is surprisingly easy. It helps that people (including older people) are already very used to telephones and tablets in daily life. So you from the first evening onwards, you will enjoy the benefits that this system offers:

• Reduced chance of errors
  There is always a chance of human error when noting a score, but when calculating the points left, the human factor is eliminated
• Counting scores is more fun
  People who normally don't like to count (for example because they are not good at mental arithmetic), are relieved that from now on, they only have to enter scores
• The match director(s) have more free time
  Because they no longer need to do any planning and they do not need to enter results afterwards, they can focus on their own games and in between games they can enjoy their break
• More statistics compared to working with paper
  As all scores are saved now, stats like average scores and finish percentages can be shown
• More social interaction
  Live scores can be viewed on tablets or screens at the bar or at home, resulting in people looking more (or they start looking) at the scores of the matches begin played while they are pausing

The system was developed in 2020 and in that year a number of bugs were removed. Since 2021 version 1 is being used in real life and... tt's working! If you are afraid that not all members are so enthusiastic, do a (free) test in the form of a festive evening (for example, couple darts) and see what response you get!

Getting started

To get to know the WebDarts system (and start using it), it is recommended to go through these steps:

1. Start Demo1 to play a single game of darts
2. Start Demo2 to check out the club environment
3. If you are not convinced, you can request an evaluation by email and test for a month in a personalized environment
